Here at Rosemary Heights Counselling, we have but one focus – to help you thrive mentally and emotionally. Our counsellors are empathetic, experienced and ready to help. Before you reach out, we want to tell you a bit more about our rates and other relevant matters.

Free initial consultations

They are only conducted by Melanie Huck, RCC. During this first 15-minute call, you will find out more about our approach to therapy. You will also get to ask your questions about working with us. If you decide to start counselling with us, Melanie will help you select the best counsellor tailored to your needs and situation.

Jodi Bridges, RCC

She specializes in supporting young people, teenagers, and adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and neurodivergence.

Fees

The fee for an hour session also includes the time in session, preparation and record keeping. Our fees our consistent with the set fee scale for British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (RCC) and BC Psych Association.

Hourly rates (60-minute sessions):

Individual: $160.00 + GST
Individual (with an associate): $160.00 + GST
Couples & Families: $170.00 + GST
Couples & Families (with an associate): $170.00

TAX may be applicable depending on the therapist.

*Hourly rates can change, so you are encouraged to check the rate
before booking a call with us.

Method of payment

Currently the practice accepts:

Visa/Mastercard (depending on therapist)
Interac/e-Transfer direct to your therapist

All clients will be provided with an informed consent outlining the expectations for payment, cancelation (24 hours prior to the session) and confidentiality during their intake session.

At this time, we do not provide direct billing to employee benefits programs but we do work with BCI, ICBC, Niisga, CVAP and SPCA, which we bill directly for.

Coverage

Extended Health Benefits or Employee Assistance Plans may provide partial or full payment. Please consult your insurer or employer as all plans vary in coverage. The practice has been approved service providers for the following agencies and employee plans:

RCMP – we are a provider for marriage & family therapy
ICBC
Brown Crawshaw
Crime Victim Assistance Program
Delta Fire Department
Surrey Fire Department

Referrals

Clients do not require a referral from a professional to attend counselling.

The practice welcomes referrals from physicians, pediatricians, massage therapists, chiropractors, counsellors and other healthcare professionals.
